In Chapter 7, titled "The Good from Everything," the narrator reflects on the past four months and the lesson learned that every experience, no matter how challenging, can lead to something positive in the future. After dropping off his sister-in-law in her hometown, the narrator and his family decide to stay for a few days to save money and spend time together. During their stay, the narrator receives a call from a company looking to fill a manager position, expressing interest in his profile. Excited yet cautious due to previous experiences, he agrees to attend the interview alone, planning to update his wife afterward. On the day of the interview, he experiences unexpected nervousness, feeling pressured and shaky while filling out the required form. Despite his usual confidence in interviews, he realizes that the situation can make it feel much tougher. While waiting for his turn, he receives a message from his wife inquiring about the interview, further adding to his anxiety. Just as he responds, he is called in for his interview, feeling a mix of tension and anticipation.
