As they arrive at the theater and see burqa-clad women in line, they become paranoid that one of them might be Phoolan Devi. Fearing the dangers of a potential police encounter, the boys decide to abandon their original plan and watch a different movie elsewhere. After Phoolan Devi's eventual surrender in February 1983, the rumors surrounding her life began to pique public curiosity. The story promises to delve deeper into the complexities of life in the Chambal region and the lives of its inhabitants, especially in relation to the infamous figure of Phoolan Devi.
