Never Ever Give Up in Our Life

In a small village nestled between green hills and flowing rivers lived a boy named Aarav. Born into a humble farming family, Aarav had big dreams — dreams that reached far beyond the boundaries of his little village. From a very young age, he was fascinated by machines and technology. While other children played in the fields, Aarav spent his time fixing broken radios, repairing old fans, and reading discarded science books.

His father, Ramesh, worked day and night in the fields to support their family. Life was not easy, but it was honest. Aarav's parents could not afford many luxuries, but they gave him all the love and encouragement they could. Aarav often said, “One day, I will become an engineer and build machines that will help farmers like my father.”

When Aarav turned 16, he decided to appear for the national engineering entrance examination. It was a difficult test, and he didn’t have access to proper coaching like city kids did. Still, he studied from borrowed books under a kerosene lamp every night. His friends laughed at him, telling him to give up and join his father in the fields. But he always smiled and replied, “Never ever give up in our life.”

The day of the exam arrived. Aarav traveled to the city, his first time away from home. The hall was filled with thousands of confident students. Aarav felt nervous but remembered his mother’s words: “Believe in yourself, and keep trying no matter how hard it gets.” He gave the exam with all his heart.

Weeks passed, and the results were declared. Aarav had failed.

His world shattered. He didn’t eat for days. He sat alone by the river, questioning his efforts, his dreams, and his future. Many advised him to forget about studies and accept his fate. But his father said something that changed everything: “Son, crops don’t grow with one rain. Sometimes, you must plough, sow, and water many times before you get the harvest. Try again.”

Those words lit a fire in Aarav’s heart. He wiped his tears and began again. He worked twice as hard, learned from his mistakes, and built a study routine. He took a part-time job in a mechanic’s garage to pay for books. It wasn’t easy — there were nights when he cried in silence, but every morning, he stood up again.

A year later, he took the exam again. This time, he passed with flying colors.

He got admission into a top engineering college in the city. Life changed dramatically — from mud roads to metro trains, from fields to laboratories. But Aarav never forgot his roots. He stayed humble, helped others, and kept reminding himself, “Never ever give up in our life.”

During his final year, Aarav developed a low-cost soil moisture sensor to help farmers save water and improve crop yield. He presented the project at a national innovation competition and won first prize. His invention caught the attention of agricultural companies and government bodies. Soon, he was invited to present his technology internationally.

Years later, Aarav returned to his village, not as a farmer’s son, but as an engineer, an innovator, and an inspiration. He set up a training center for young students, ensuring that no child in his village had to give up on dreams due to lack of guidance or support.

Standing on the same soil where he once fell and rose again, Aarav addressed the children of his village and said, “Life will test you. People will doubt you. But the only thing that matters is your belief in yourself. Failures are not the end — they are just steps. Remember, never ever give up in our life.”
