“You really cannot find time to read my mother’s book along with me.” Williams accusingly said “For the last four days we did not read that book.”
“Williams you don’t know how much busy I have become in the hospital for the last few days and I just could not manage to wake up once I got into the bedroom.” Rose adjusted more besides Williams on the bed. “Anyhow you yourself also can read that book.”
“You asked me not to read the book without you beside me.” The accusing expression was just so in his face. “The reputed psychiatrist has got problem with her mind it seems, you have forgotten it.”
“I really forgot it, sorry” her charming smile then indeed has its affect on Williams even he saw quite often. “Now we try to read that book more than we used to read and if possible we complete it. May I go and get it then?” she has become ready to get off from the bed.
“Not necessary, I already got it.” when he proffered it towards her she took it with her both hands “Reading it whether sitting or lying on the bed is your choice but I hear it lying like this.” Williams laid gently on the bed “Just go on. I am ready to hear.”
‘Anyhow I have to follow what Stuart dictated to me even I did not like it much. I did not see much wrong in earning money joining in that office but I could not understand why Stuart asked me not to say about our relationship with anyone there. I still can remember the first day I went to that office and met Raja Prathap. If there was any other person that I have got good feeling by looking at, it was only that Raja Prathap. His interviewing me was just namesake and formality and it appeared to me that Stuart has beautiful hold on him. Moreover, just like anyone, I could see the appreciative look in the face of Raja Prathap as soon as he found me. I knew for sure that he was impressed by me just like anyone and that was what troubling me a lot.
Working with Raja Prathap was so smooth and enjoyable. He was so much respectable person and enjoyable but all the time I have been foreseeing a danger. On one day it really has taken place.
“I want to talk one thing with you. You just say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to me after hearing that and there would be no coercion on you. But I so much wish to hear only ‘yes’ from you and nothing else.”
My heart filled with horror anticipating what he was going to ask. I was trying my level best to keep my feeling only in me and not to show that either in my voice or face. “Please go on sir. I am very much curious to hear.” I forced a smile onto my lips.
