Previously on Part 1:
Anusha discovered a photo of Aditya with another girl. A confrontation behind the library. A mystery. A shadow. Another girl walks in… crying.
Anusha's world breaks.
And Aditya says:
> “You were never supposed to find out like this.”
---
Chapter 1: The Girl in the Photo
The girl stood in silence. Her eyes glossy, red. Her voice cracked when she spoke.
“Aditya… you said we were done.”
Anusha blinked rapidly. Her stomach churned.
Aditya stood frozen between them.
Words trapped in his throat.
Then:
> “We were done. It ended before I met her.”
Anusha’s breath hitched. “What?”
The girl Neha - stepped closer. “He ghosted me, Anusha. One day, we were planning our future, next day, nothing. Not a text. Not a goodbye. Just… vanished.”
Anusha turned to Aditya. “Is this true?”
Aditya’s silence was loud. Deafening.
Boom.
Anusha slapped him.
Not for cheating.
But for the lie of omission.
She walked away. No drama. Just devastation wrapped in calm.
> “I thought I was special. Turns out, I was just… next.”
---
Chapter 2: Voicemails and Void
Three days.
No calls. No texts. No sleep.
Aditya tried reaching out.
Anusha blocked him.
Then unblocked.
Then blocked again.
He left voicemails.
> “You weren’t next, Anusha. You were the only one who ever saw me.”
She listened. Then deleted them. Then cried for hours.
But truth is never simple.

Chapter 3: Neha’s Confession
Anusha, curious and hurting, agreed to meet Neha at the campus cafe.
Neha was quieter now. Gentler. A pain only heartbreak could teach.
> “We were together for a year. I was toxic. Jealous. He stayed for longer than he should’ve. I broke him down. But I didn’t expect him to just cut me off.”
She sipped her cold coffee.
> “When I saw him with you… I thought maybe he was healing. But I guess none of us ever fully do.”
She left Anusha with a torn photo.
Aditya. Smiling. But his eyes? Empty.

Chapter 4: A Note Under the Door
Aditya hadn’t attended class in 4 days.
Anusha found a crumpled note under her door one evening:
> “If I told you I was broken before you came, would you forgive me for not knowing how to love right?”
“Meet me at the physics lab terrace. Midnight. One last time.”
She hesitated. But curiosity won. Pain demanded closure.
---
Chapter 5: Beneath the Moonlight
She climbed the cold stairs, each step heavier than the last.
He stood there. Shivering. Soaking wet in the drizzle.
His hoodie clung to him like guilt.
He looked up.
Eyes bloodshot.
Voice soft:
> “You made me feel things I didn’t think I deserved.”
“But I was afraid… if I showed you all of me… you’d leave.”
She whispered, “You didn’t show me. You hid from me. That’s why I’m leaving.”
She turned.
But he grabbed her hand.
Not forcefully. Just enough to ask for a pause.
> “Anusha, please… don’t leave with half the story.”
She paused.
> “Neha came back to blackmail me. She had screenshots, stuff from our past. Said she’d ruin everything if I didn’t meet her one last time.”
Anusha narrowed her eyes. “Then why didn’t you tell me?”
His voice cracked.
> “Because I didn’t want to lose you. And ironically… I did.”
---
Chapter 6: Truth & Trauma
Over the next hour, the whole truth spilled.
Neha had been emotionally manipulative. Aditya had undergone counseling. He kept it private. He wanted a fresh start, but guilt over how he ended things with Neha haunted him.
He never cheated.
But he never trusted Anusha with his mess either.
She said nothing. Just sat beside him in silence. It was the first time they’d truly been quiet - not awkward, not romantic. Just… broken.
Then came the twist.
---
Chapter 7: The Hidden Phone
As they sat there, a phone buzzed under his hoodie pocket.
Not his.
Neha’s.
Anusha picked it up.
A secret recording app - running.
> "Recording: 47 minutes."
Anusha’s eyes widened.
Aditya’s face went pale.
She pressed stop.
Message draft saved:
> “He’s lying to her. I’ll make her hate him.”
Anusha dropped the phone.
> “She… she planned this?”
“The photo, the crying… all of it?”
“She knew I’d come to you. She knew I’d break it.”
Aditya looked like he’d been hit by a truck of realization.
And guilt.
Anusha stood up. Heart racing.
> “Aditya… I want to believe you. But this… all of this… I don’t know anymore.”
Then - her phone rang.
Unknown Number.
She picked up. A shaky voice whispered:
> “Don’t trust him. He’s hiding more than you think. Check his second number.”
Click.
She turned. “Do you have another phone?”
Aditya went still.
> “…Yes.”
She took a step back. “Give it to me.”
He hesitated. Then slowly pulled out a hidden phone from his bag.
She unlocked it with his fingerprint.
Messages.
Chats.
Photos.
Not Neha.
A third girl.
Recent.
“You said she wouldn’t find out.”
“Are you still with Anusha?”
Anusha dropped the phone.
Her breath came in short gasps.
Aditya froze. “I… I don’t-It’s not what it looks like.”
She stared at him.
Tears gone. Replaced by something colder.
Disbelief.
Heartbreak.
Numbness.
She walked backward slowly.
> “Goodbye, Aditya.”
She left him standing there.

CLIFFHANGER (End of Part 2):
Anusha sat alone in her hostel room that night. Lights off.
Phone in hand.
One message received.
From Unknown:
> “You still think he was your biggest heartbreak?
Check your department’s CCTV footage, the night he told you he loved you.”
Attached: A file.
She stared at the screen.
Play?
She hovered over the button.
Tap.
Screen goes black.
