Stella is a young college going girl. She is just 22 year old happy go lucky nature, only daughter of her millionaire father Mr. Steve. Stella moved to the nearby well known college for her higher studies. She decided to stay in a hostel room. But none of the rooms were available at that time . Her father asked the warden to arrange a room for his daughter anyhow.
Suddenly, the assistant whispered in the ears of the warden Lily: mam, we can provide the room no . 26 .
Lilly: shut up, how dare you to talk about that room .
Mr. Steve heard the noise and asked about room no. 26.
Lily and her assistant looked at each other and Lily said (with trembling voice ) : oh ! Nothing important , actually we don’t give that room to anyone as it’s door has been stuck.
She said the reason but Stella could able to smell trouble with the warden but she didn’t expressed it to her father . Mr. Steve asked the warden to replace the door with a new one and provide that room to his daughter. Because of his power and money in the locality , miss Lily decided to do whatever he said , after two days the room was ready for Stella . Mr. Steve left his daughter in the hostel and moved back to his home .
Stella was doubtful looking at the tensed faces of the warden and her assistant when she asked them the way to room no. 26 .
Miss Lily: that way! Go straight and then right .
Stella: okay , thanks mam .
Stella was about to enter the room but she felt something uneasy, ignoring all those things she opened the door. It was a dark messy room full of spiders . She screamed out of fear. The warden came .
Stella : mam, why don’t you ordered the workers to clean the room.
Miss Lily: oh dear , I told them but I think they forgot about it. Give me few minutes, it will be done.
Stella: yes , please do it fast.
After sometime room was prepared. Stella took her heavy luggage and entered the room. She was excited to enjoy her college life as it was her first day in the college . She got ready and went to the classroom. A lot of new faces were there and luckily she made many of them as her friend. It was all good in the college . In the end of the day she returned to her room and took a shower, but, while taking a bath she heard some sorts of sound. She was confused as nobody was present in the room except her , so she walked out of the bathroom and searched for that noise , suddenly she heard a husky sound from the cupboard. She was shocked and slowly stepped towards the cupboard. She was about to open the cupboard but it started shaking. Stella was frozen in her place. She got frightened and before she could do anything, there was a knocking sound from the door. She felt numb. Again , somebody knocked at the door but this time the sound was too loud. Stella moved forward to open the door. She opened the door but she was taken aback after observing the scene, as a girl with half burned face was standing in front of her with a wicked smile. Stella screamed. After sometime, she waked up with the sound of alarm. She was sweating and feeling thirsty, her body was frozen. But, she was relaxed as she realized that it was all nothing but a nightmare. She looked at the clock, it was 1:30 am. She calmed down and slept again as she had to go to the college next morning.
Stella entered the classroom , but it was strange that no one was there in the class, she was all alone and it was making her scared. She decided to seat on the bench and wait for her friends to come. All of a sudden she felt like someone is gazing at her . She looked around only to find out empty benches. To distract her mind she opened a book to read. While turning the pages she noticed that few drops of blood was dropping from the celling. She was petrified. She looked up . She screamed looking at the celling fan as a dead body was hanging in the fan with lots of scratches and cut marks on her hand and feet. Stella ran outside the classroom. But , after coming out of the classroom she noticed voice of her friends from the classroom itself. She was confused to observe these things happening in her surroundings. One of her friend, Mark , came out and asked Stella.
Mark: hey, dear what happened? Why did you left the class?
Stella: but, when did all of you came to the class as before few minutes the classroom was empty.
Mark: Are you kidding me? Oh Stella, it’s a really very bad joke . You saw that everyone was present from the beginning only, before you entered the class, right? Why are you behaving so strange? Anything serious?
Stella : yah! Yah! Everything is fine. I think I need to take rest so I don’t think I will be attaining the class today. Let me go to my room . Bye .
Mark: okay! Take care dear. See you soon. Bye.
Stella was worried thinking about the strange things that has happened with her from the time she entered the new town. She came back to her room. She laid down in the bed and closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt like someone is slowly pulling her blanket . She opened her eyes and was tightly holding the blanket but, swiftly the blanket was snatched. She got frightened when she looked up at the cupboard. It was horribly shaking and a husky loud voice was coming from that . Out of fear, she picked her phone from the side table and dialed her father’s no. , but, unfortunately Mr. Steve didn’t picked up the call . Stella got tensed and was repeatedly trying to connect her father. After few minutes Mr. Steve received the call .
Before Mr. Steve could ask anything to his daughter, Stella started screaming for help. After listening her petrified voice Mr. Steve felt tensed and was asking for what’s happened with Stella but Stella couldn’t able to say anything. The call was suddenly hanged up.
Stella again saw that half burned face girl in the corner of her room, which she saw in her dream, that girl’s body was scratched and her eyes were red like blood. She was screaming . That girl was slowly coming towards Stella but, Stella was feeling helpless. After sometime a loud horrible scream was heard from the room no. 26 . Everyone was shocked along with the warden , her assistant and other students.
Mr. Steve reached the hostel after listening the scream of his daughter in the phone call . He came to know that his daughter was dead when he opened the hostel room where Stella was staying. He was shocked to observe his daughter’s body , as Stella’s face was half burned and her body had cut marks and scratches. He angrily interrogated the warden.
The warden accepted that it was all her fault. As she knew from the vary beginning that the room no. 26 was haunted from past 6 years. She told the truth that “before 6 years a 20 year old girl was staying in the room but one morning she was found dead in the room with the same condition in which Stella was found. After investigation it was discovered that her boyfriend has burned her face out of anger and revenge. He brutally killed that girl. After that, no one was ready to stay in the room . The room has become haunted as many times people used to hear loud screams from the room. But, out of fear your power I didn’t told you about the past history of the room”.
Mr. Steve lost his daughter but he make sure that no other girl would stay in that room and die like his daughter. Miss Lily was suspended as she hide the truth.
