Scene 1 – The Empty Room
(Stage is dimly lit. Ravi is sitting on the floor, surrounded by books and papers. He looks frustrated. His mother, Meera, enters.)
Narrator:
Life sometimes feels like a road with no signs. Ravi, a bright boy, has lost his way. Failure in exams, rejection in jobs, and pressure from society have made him restless.
Meera: (gently) Ravi, you haven’t eaten since morning. At least take some food.
Ravi: (angry and tired) Maa, what’s the use of eating? What’s the use of living this same useless day again and again?
Meera: (sits beside him) Life is not useless, beta. It is just asking you to be patient.
Ravi: (teary eyes) Everyone around me is moving ahead. Amit got a job, Rohan is preparing for abroad, even Neha started her own business. And me? I am stuck here.
(Meera hugs him silently. Stage goes dark.)
---
Scene 2 – The Friend’s Advice
(Stage lights up. Amit and Ravi sit on a park bench. Children play in the background.)
Amit: (smiling) You remember when we were kids? You always won races. You never gave up even when you fell.
Ravi: (sarcastic) That was childhood, Amit. Life is not a school race.
Amit: True. But the rule is the same. You fall, you rise, you run again.
Ravi: (sighs) Easy for you to say. You got a job.
Amit: Do you think I got it without struggle? I worked nights, I faced rejections. But I didn’t stop. You are talented, Ravi. You just need to fight again.
(Ravi stays silent, lost in thought. Scene fades.)
---
Scene 3 – The Storm Inside
(Stage shows Ravi’s room again. It’s night. Ravi writes in his diary.)
Narrator:
When the world outside feels too heavy, sometimes the answer lies within. Ravi begins to speak to himself through words.
Ravi: (writing aloud) “I feel broken, but I am not finished. I feel lost, but maybe I am still on the journey. Maybe failure is not my enemy, maybe it’s my teacher.”
(He stops, takes a deep breath, and looks at the stars outside the window.)
Ravi: (softly) Maybe I still have a chance…
---
Scene 4 – The Mother’s Faith
(Morning. Meera is making tea. Ravi enters with more energy.)
Meera: (surprised) You woke up early today?
Ravi: (smiling slightly) Yes Maa. I’ve decided… I will apply again. This time, not just for jobs, but also to learn new skills.
Meera: (eyes shining) That’s my son. You know, life doesn’t give up on us, beta. We only give up on life.
Ravi: (hugs her) Thank you Maa. For never giving up on me.
---
Scene 5 – The Turning Point
(Six months later. Ravi is in an office, working confidently. Amit enters with a lunchbox.)
Amit: Look at you, Mr. Professional! I knew you would shine one day.
Ravi: (laughs) And you were right, Amit. Life is not about never falling. It’s about rising again and again.
(Meera enters, proud and smiling.)
Narrator:
Ravi’s journey was not about success alone. It was about courage, patience, and faith. Life is never easy, but it is always worth living. Because every fall hides a chance to rise higher.
(All three join hands. Stage fades to black with soft music.)
