Before I start, I want you to imagine this clearly…
A huge university campus, full of strangers, full of dreams.
And in the middle of that crowd—one boy stepping into a new life.
That boy… is Aarav.
Aarav came from a middle-class home where dreams were allowed, but money had limits. His father always said, “Education will open every locked door for you.” His mother packed his favourite lunch on his first University day, whispering, “Make good friends.” He didn’t know how that one simple line would change everything in his life.
The campus was loud, exciting, and a little scary. Aarav adjusted his backpack nervously and followed the signboard for the orientation hall. Suddenly, a girl rushed and almost crashed into him. Her hair messy, eyes confused, and notebooks slipping from her hand.
“Oh God—sorry! I think the map hates me,” she said with a panicked laugh.
Aarav helped pick up her books, “It’s okay. I’m going the same way. Come.”
She smiled—bright, innocent.
“I’m Siya. New here. Very new.”
Aarav nodded awkwardly, “Aarav.”
They walked together, both equally clueless yet comfortable in each other’s company. It felt like meeting an old friend in a new world.
Inside the hall, a boy stood on a chair and shouted,
“Hello freshers! Welcome to your second home!”
Everyone stared. He continued proudly,
“I’m Sidharth. If you need notes, jokes, or drama—come to me!”
The crowd laughed.
Aarav laughed the loudest.
Sidharth jumped down and tapped his shoulder, “Good laugh, bro! We’ll be friends.”
It wasn’t a request. It was a decision.
Soon, a group formed around them—Kabir, the sports hero with too much confidence; Meera, bold enough to argue with a professor; Aditi, shy but secretly brilliant at art; and Rohan, the silent coding wizard. And then Siya, the topper among them, although her childish decisions often created small chaos.
Their first lecture felt endless. The professor spoke like a robot running out of batteries. Sidharth leaned closer to Aarav and whispered, “If I die here, delete my search history.” Aarav controlled a laugh, head down, while Siya nudged them both, “Focus! Or we’ll fail before starting.”
Evenings turned magical. They explored the giant campus—fountain area, old library corners, chai stall outside the gate where they shared samosas and dreams. Aarav, usually quiet, found himself laughing more than ever… mostly because of Sidharth. They became inseparable—like the heart and heartbeat.
But friendship isn’t friendship without a storm.
One day during group project planning, Kabir turned aggressive.
“You think everything should be your way, Meera!” he shouted.
“At least I have a way! You only know cricket!” she fired back.
Voices rose. Chairs moved.
Even Siya, the peacemaker, couldn’t stop the clash.
Rohan walked away angry.
The group broke into pieces… even if for a few weeks
Later one night, rain started. Aarav found everyone sitting separately in the cafeteria, silent, wounded by words. Slowly, Sidharth dragged all chairs together and said,
“We are idiots. But we are idiots together.”
Aarav added softly, “Let’s not lose something so beautiful over something so small.”
Siya sniffed and hugged everyone.
And just like that—love won.
The next big chapter came with the University Cultural Fest.
Aarav was too shy to join, but Sidharth grabbed his hand,
“Bro, if I embarrass myself on stage, I’m taking you down with me.”
Everyone laughed and signed up. Late-night rehearsals, dance confusion, costumes everywhere—the campus felt like a movie set.
One evening, only the stage lights were on. Aarav and Sidharth were sitting at the back, feet hanging off the edge.
“You know,” Sidharth said, voice softer than usual,
“I’ve had many people around me… but only one feels like home. And that’s you.”
Aarav didn’t know what to reply.
He just looked at him…
and smiled.
Warm. Real.
Siya called from behind, “You emotional fools! Rehearsal again!”
Their laughter echoed against the empty seats.
Their friendship grew stronger.
Stronger than they realized.
Strong enough to attract attention.
Strong enough to create jealousy.
Strong enough to be tested.
Because happiness is always followed by something unexpected.
And trust me…
something is coming.
A twist.
A misunderstanding.
A moment that changes everything.
You want to know it, right?
You want to see what breaks them…
or what makes them unbreakable.
Then be ready…
Part-2 is where the storm begins.
Should I continue? 😌✨
