"Aru! Time to wake up!"
(Her mother's voice echoed softly through the house.)
"Aru was in sleep she didn't wake up.Suddenly she listening some sound.
Yawned and sat up.she heard a faint chirping sound coming from somewhere near by.
(Alarm sound at 07:00AM)
Curiously,she stepped into the hall.The sound disappeared.This had been happening for the past few days,and it began to bother her.Today, she listened carefully...and finally realized the sound was coming from under her bed.But,there is nothing under the bed.
Something about Aradhya felt strange walked to far corner of her room,the one that always made her curious.There she noticed a small hole near the floor.Her hands trembled as she touched it with a little effort.She broke the weak part of the floor, revealing a narrow staircase going down.
The air that come from below was so cold and filled with a strange scent.Aradhya hesitated for a moment,then slowly stepped closer.
what she saw beneath made her freeze.her heart filled with both shock and unexpected happiness.
Suddenly a big sound Aru!from her mother....
Then aradhya rushed into her room.Aradhya quickly covered the broken part of the floor and acted normal, hiding the truth about the secret space under her bed .
Mom!What happened? why are you making noise at this hour? Aradhya asked.
Okay Aru anyway, I came to remind you-yesterday you said tomorrow you're meeting your childhood friend from itaca,right?
"Yeah,mom, I remember,"Aradhya said softly, pretending everything was fine.But,her eyes kept drifting towards corner of the room.
Aradhya got ready and stepped out into lively Streets of newyork.The cool breez brushed against her face as she made her way to caffeine.This is her favorite caffeine spot.
Manoj was already waiting for her at the corner of the table, waving with his cheerful smile.
They ordered their coffees and began talking-what started as casual conversation soon turned deeper, touching on her childhood days in itaca and small village of Rosefield.
Manoj listened carefully,his eyes showing mix of concern and kind."Sometimes the past doesn'tstay buried aradhya", he said quickly.
She smiled faintly, hiding the uneasiness in her chest." Maybe it never was ", she replied.
After finishing their coffees.she said thanks to manoj,and they stood up,shooks hands,and went their separate ways.
(Unware that the secret waiting under her bed was about to change everything.)
The hidden secret was busted!
The next day morning, before clock struck 07:00AM.Aradhya quietly went to that secret room.She look around carefully,her eyes wide with curiousity.The place was filled with colourful birds everywhere.But soon,that joy turned into shock.
Suddenly birds started chirping.She noticed someone moving in the corner, feeding the birds.Her heart began to race.Gathering courage,she stepped forward and said in a trembling voice.
W-what are you doing....under my bed?
Aradhya staired at him still shaking.
"ARE YOU .....A GANGSTAR OR SOMETHING?"she asked,half scared,half curious.
He chuckled softly."If feeding birds makes me a gangstar,then maybe I am.
Aradhya laughed without even realising it,at that moment,she let go of all her tension and scare.A strange calmness filled her heart as she looked at him.
Then he said softly."don't take tension....relax first.If you really want to know everything, come to caffeine at 11:00 clock.
Aradhya frowned a little."caffeine?"she repeated.
