નાનો હતો ત્યારે સ્કૂલે સાઈકલ પર,
મુકવા આવતા પપ્પા !
નોકરી પડતી મૂકીને મને પાછા
તેડવા આવતા પપ્પા !
રિઝલ્ટ સ્કુલનું જોઈને મારું,
ખુશ થતા પપ્પા !
રમતા રમતા પડી ને રડતો ત્યારે,
ખભે હાથ મૂકીને હસાવતા પપ્પા !
ઘરથી આજે બહુ દૂર છું ત્યારે,
"ગીરી" રોજ મને યાદ આવતા પપ્પા !
