જેને આંખો થી જોતા જ;
ચેહરાનું સ્મિત પથરાઈ જતું હોય.

ભરી મેહફીલ પણ;
એમની ગેરહાજરીમાં ખાલી લાગતી હોય.

એમની એક ઝલક જોવા પણ;
આંખો તરસે'ને દિલ કુદકડા મારતું હોય.

જો હાથ થમાવે તો..!
લાખો કસમો જીવ કુરબાન કરી દેતું હોય.

બે ઘડી મુલાકાતો..;
ને વાતો જીવનભર સાથ આપવાની થતી હોય.

ના આગલું શું? અને પાછલું પળ શું?
જરાય ભય નહિ કે, આવનારા સમાજ નું દૃશ્ય શું હોય.

જો મળે સાથ તારો..;
તો સમાજ થી લડાતું હોય, બાકી વાત ત્યાં જ થોભી દેવાતી હોય.

શરૂઆતી લાગણી અને અંત બંને મનમાં ઉભા થાય;
જો પ્રીત સાચી તો, આંસુ પણ આવી જતા હોય.

કઈક અધૂરું , અપૂર્ણ , અજુગતું...!
જીવન ની પરિભાષા ખબર ત્યારે જ પડતી હોય.

જ્યારે જીવનમાં કોઈક પોતાનું બની ને;
વહેતી આંખોએ વિખૂટાં પડી જતાં હોય.
