“My god! She has lost her mother also!” Rose exclaimed.
“Losing her grandmother and father would not have mattered to her at all but the death of her mother surely would have.” Williams sighed heavily. “Go on. It seems that we came to a very important part in her life.”
‘I stopped bothering with marriage once my mother also died. Stuart was looking after me very well and that seemed enough to me. I have decided to leave the marriage issue absolutely to Williams himself. I just did not want to bother him for marriage as he was looking after me very well.
Time was going by just like that and suddenly something most astounding and disturbing came into my notice. That was Stuart was in love not only with me but something else also. That was money! I slowly understood that he was so much obsessed to earn money.
‘All my life until I join at Raja Prathap sir was in utter poverty. I could not get the best treatment to my parents just because of lack of money. I could not be educated much even though I am intelligent just because of lack of money. You also know the value of money, don’t you?’ on one day while we both were side by side on the bed he said to me.
‘Of course, I know the value of it’ I hugged him, kissed on his right cheek and said. Who else in the world knew the value of the money better than I?
‘Will you cooperate with me to earn it more? We need a lot of it once we married and have kids.’ He also put both of his hands around me and asked me looking into my face.
‘Why not? I sure do help you. I sure do help you in that with every fibre of my being.’ I smiled and kissed on the same cheek after saying. But I was in confusion and did not know what he was going to ask me.
‘Then you need to do a job, a job at my sir Raja Prathap. At present he is in dire need of a secretary and you can wonderfully fit in that. The salary will be very nice.’
Then for the first time I understood why he made me undergo the secretary course also. Something was appearing quite disturbing in all of that but I could not see much wrong in joining as a secretary at Raja Prathap. What was the wrong in doing a job and earning money in a legitimate way?
‘Alright I do so.’ I smiled and said. ‘In such a way the secretary course I have undergone also would come into use.’
‘And......’ it was just like he wanted some more assurance also from me ‘.....you should not let anyone there know that you and I are in relationship and going to be married especially to that Raja Prathap.’
‘But for what?’ my forehead creased with frowns. ‘Why should not I let it be known to anyone there especially to that Raja Prathap?’
‘You have to do that in the way I ask, no questions.’ There was a snap in his voice and I found a new man suddenly in him. ‘Is that understood?’
It was disturbing, quite disturbing! He has something sinister motive in him I could not understand. But I came too far and was in very much love with him to question him to whatever he said.
“For the present, it is enough darling!” Rose suddenly closed that book and yawned heavily. “If you want you may read it yourself.”
“It is better to listen through you rather than reading myself.” Williams took the book from there, went to the table and put it in the drawer and came to the bed again after closing it.”But I am not going to let you sleep that fast.”
Rose understood that she could not escape and suddenly found herself with desire. Then between them both it was just like the previous time as all the time Rose imagined Swaroop in the place of Williams and Williams imagined Liza in the place of Rose and just like before it was most enjoyable thing to them both. They both did not miss that orla sex also.

Rose woke up five in the morning and her usual time to get up from the overnight sleep was six or so and she did not know what exactly the reason to her early waking like that then. Still feeling sleepy she suppressed a yawn by putting the back of her right hand across her mouth and suddenly considered herself and startled! After having sex like that neither of them were bothered to dress themselves up and slept like that with nude bodies. Williams’ nudeness was covered perfectly by the blanket and she was also under it before slipping into sleep when she came out of it she did not remember. She wanted to slip herself into sleep again without bothering to dress herself but then she remembered the Charles’ book which she has to read. It has been emailed to her more than one week back and everyday Charles was asking her whether she read that book or not. She has to read atleast some of it on this day.
She got off from the bed, dressed herself completely up, went near to the table and went straight into the hall and slumped in a chair there after picking up her tablet from the table. They do leave a light to go on in the hall and she woke her tablet also from sleep, went to downloads and opened Charles book. ‘All About Sex’ the title was on the top and in the beginning of the matter.
Even though Charles sometimes would behave like a child, he has more intelligence and skill in dealing with patients and he has vast psychological knowledge and wonderful psychiatric skills. Sometimes Rose would have to take his help also to treat her parents just like Charles’ would do with respect to his. Even it was not a hard and fast rule, usually Rose would look female patients and Charles would look after male parents and there were nurses and other helping staff also in BAMC. As the pressure was becoming more and more on them both as they both were the only psychiatrists in that mental care, Charles was considering to recruit one or two psychiatrists more in that.
‘It is important to know the exact meaning of ‘sex’ before making any study or research on the same. Primarily gender comes under it. ‘Male or female or both or neither irrespective of the category it belongs. But the activity that the male and female beings whether they are humans or otherwise undertake for procreating also called as sex and such activity as sexual intercourse.’
Rose paused for a moment and sighed heavily. ‘Beginning is good! Charles began at the beginning.’ she thought and put herself into reading again. There was one hour or so of time to her to read that book and she has to read substantial part of it to satisfy Charles that she has interest on his book. There was a chance that Charles might ask her how much she read in that book and it was very important to read some of it atleast.
‘But the difference between humans and other beings with respect to sex. It has been proved amply that the animals do have sexual urge and the pleasure of the same as the humans do. In fact some animals are instigated to participate in more sexual activity and get more sexual pleasure than humans and Bonobos are the example to it. The main difference comes in selecting the mates. Humans must be moral conscious and they have to see that their mate should not be closely related them. It has been opined between the scientists for a long time that the animals also do have such conscience even it is not moral like in human beings but some subconscious to prevent defected posterity through closely blood relations, they don’t go to their close relatives, like sisters, brothers, mother and father. As the deformities in animals are quite rare it has been opined so. But some other studies proved it is not so between animals and even they do avoid having sex with their close relatives, they don’t bother to have it with them when a non-blood relative mate not available to them. The animals may have an inbuilt immunity from deformity to their posterity even though they have sex with their very close relatives also.
‘Animals do sex mainly with their bodies and the pleasure also limited to their bodies as it has been supposed that they do have very little mind. But humans do sex as much as with their mind as with their bodies. Men mostly want to satisfy their ego along with their urge as such they keep the women below and they themselves on the top while doing sex.’
It was certainly Charles’ presumption but not from any study or research, Rose thought in herself and smiled. Keeping the woman below is the convenient thing to do sex! Man could insert his thing into hers in an easiest way in such a way. She should argue with him and try to make change this.
The later sentences in it were appeared even more preposterous and insulting! ‘Women do like to be lower and inferior to men and their being under the weight of male while doing sex is mainly because of that. They mostly want to be inactive and passive while men are going on with the sexual activity and as men also want them to be just so, it does not create any conflict.’
‘How can he say it like that?’ Rose wondered in herself while trying to suppress her anger. This was also certainly an opinion Charles has got basing on his own experience with his own wife or some other one in her place but not basing on any research or study. Then quite automatically she thought about her own way of behaving during sex with Williams and to her irritation she remembered she also mostly remain as passive and inactive while he was doing things actively on her body. It was not so that she would remain passive like that all the time but most of the time it was so. Even then, when Williams was mildly mad and she used sex as a weapon to bring back his senses, once he galvanised into action she just remained as a passive observer letting him do whatever he wanted to do. But, she thought firmly in herself, just because of these limited episodes she must not come to the opinion that what Charles has written as right. It needs a lengthy discussion with him and if possible she would make him change what he has written. Then she forced herself once again to read the matter disregarding the invading thoughts.
‘Now we do consider when exactly this sex starts and with which it starts. It is wrong to think that sex starts especially in human beings when they reached a certain age or adolescence. It starts in them long, long before when they are just days aged infants. Sometimes the sudden standing up pricks in male babies is the sign about the sexual feeling in them and even we cannot find such sign in female babies they also do have sexual feeling in them just like male babies.
‘This is also without any support, without any basis. This book would be shunned without a second thought if it has been full of surmises and premises like these.’ Rose thought before continuing to read the next.
