Every night, Nivi loved looking at the sky.
She would sit in her backyard with her best friend, Lila.
They pointed at the stars and made little wishes.
One night, the moon looked so bright, so round, so shiny.
It looked like a big silver balloon floating in the sky.
“Lila,” Nivi whispered, “do you ever wonder what it’s like on the moon?”
Lila’s eyes grew wide.
“Yes! Maybe we can touch the stars. Maybe we can meet moon animals. I wish… we could go there!”

🐇 Moon Friends
But wait… the moon was not empty.
Little creatures hopped all around.
They looked like bunnies… with silver fur and glowing ears!

The whale bent down low.

🏰 The Crystal Castle
The whale flew them to a castle made of crystal.
Its towers sparkled like rainbows.
The big doors opened by themselves.
Out floated a tiny glowing fairy.
“Welcome,” she said.
She wore a crown of stars.
“I am Luna, the guardian of the moon.”
The girls bowed politely.
“We are happy to be here,” Nivi said.
“The moon loves happy guests,” Luna smiled.
🍰 Starry Feast
Inside the castle, the walls glowed like rainbows.
Floating tables held star-shaped cakes and cups of sparkling juice.
“Please eat,” said Luna.
The girls took a bite.
Mmm! The cakes were soft and sweet, like candy clouds.
The juice sparkled and made them giggle.
“This is delicious!” Lila said.
Even the bunnies had tiny star-cakes.
