Corridor Scene – Old friends vs new world
College corridor – lunch break – ભીડ, laughter, mobile screens, insta reels બધી તરફ માત્ર આ જ દૃશ્ય જોવા મળી રહ્યું હતું.
Rohit Rocky અને Seema સાથે insta live માટે pose practice કરી રહ્યો છે.
રોકી માથા ઉપર sunglass અને Seema phone angle set કરે છે.
રાજ અને નિરાલી આવે છે.
corridor ના દરવાજાથી Raj અને Nirali ધીરે ચાલીને આવે.
Raj થોડો nervous દેખાતો હતો....Nirali ની આંખો કઈક કહેવા માગતી હતી..
Raj (normal પરંતુ serious અવાજમાં)
“bhai, thodi વાત કરવી છે…”
Rohit annoyed look: “બોલ… fast bro, live ચળાવવાનું છે.”
રોહિત ના ગેરવર્તન કરવા છતાં રાજ તેને સમજાવે છ.
Raj: “ભાઈ…સાંભળ....Roky weird લાગે છે. All shiny, all show-off.... મને એ સાચો મિત્ર નથી લાગતો.”
Nirali (boldly but softly): “સીમા પણ....insta fame use કરે છે, ધ્યાન રાખજે રોહિત. Don’t trust blindly."
રોહિત ખૂબ જ ગુસ્સે થાય છે અને તેની આંખો ગુસ્સા થી લાલ થઈ જાય છે.
Rohit એક second Rocky અને Seema તરફ જુએ – Rocky eyebrow ઉંચકીને silently “ignore” કરે.
“Enough! તમે બસ કરો હવે!!! મારી personal ઝિંદગી માં interfere કરવાનું બંધ કરો😡”
“તમે બધા સાવ બોરિંગ છો..એક દમ કંટાળા જનક.... બોઘા જેવા સાવ....ગવાર જેવા!!!!"
રાજ અને નિરાલી ને દુઃખ થાય છે છતાં સમજાવવા ના પ્રયત્ન કરે છે
"ભાઈ, fame is fine… but real life? Remember school days?”
Nirali (hurt): “We still care Rohit… please… સાંભળ.”
Rohit ત્યાંથી નીકળી જાય છે.
“કૃપા કરી મારો પીછો છોડો અને મને સમજાવવાનું રહેવા દો Don’t interfere!!!! Good Bye!!!!”
Voice loud enough – corridorમાં 2-3 students side look કરે.
Raj અને Nirali ખૂબ hurt થાય છે –ધીમા પગે બહાર જવા માંડે છે.
સોશીયલ મીડિયા નું જાળ
શરૂઆતમાં social media ફક્ત timepass હતું.પરંતુ કોલેજ પછી રૂમમાં bed પર પડ્યો પડ્યો – insta scroll કરવુ, funny videos, dance reels જોવા…
મજા આવતી – but harmless લાગતું.
આ virtual love, attention – દિલમાં thrill, આંખોમાં રોમાંચ લાવતું.
અને તેનું Routine બદલાઈ ગયું.
સવારે ઊઠતાની સાથે insta open – views, comments ચેક કરે.
classes વચ્ચે mobile – insta feed scroll કરતો રહે.
libraryમાં બેઠો, book ખોલ્યા વગર reel ideas note કરતો રહે.
રાતે સૂતા પહેલા – new reel post, story upload કરતો રહે.
રોહિત ના અંદરનો વિચાર“અરે, Old life simple છે… boring!”
“હવે insta life છે… હું visible છું, ‘કોઈ’ છું!”
“થોડી fake followers પણ… તો શું? audience love તો real છે ને!”
મોબાઇલ બન્યો રોહિત નો New friend:
Lunch, dinner, study, even friends… બધું phone screen પાછળ.
Mobile charging હોય તો thrill, excitement. જ્યારે
Mobile battery down હોય તો panic, fear.
Raj અને Nirali phone કરે ત્યારે અવોઈડ કરે “Busy છું, પછી વાત કરીશ…”
Shraya મેસેજ કરે તો “Fine છું…”

libraryમાં insta open કરે તો librarian કહે “પુસ્તકો વાંચ…” Rohit ignore કરે
canteenમાં Raj આડે મળે તો Rohit insta open રાખે, eye contact પણ ના કરે
ડર અને guilt વચ્ચે thrill
ક્યારેક પસ્તાવો “wrong કરી રહ્યો છું…”
તો ક્યારેક રોમાંચ “Followers વધ્યા, fame વધી રહ્યું છે… છોડી ન શકું!!!!”

રાત્રે – Roky & Seema ના group chat:
Roky late night insta message મોકલે:
“Bro, fame double કરવો છે? જુઓ, new game છે – insta story માં real cash બતાવીશ… followers તરત વધશે!”
Seema smiling emoji મોકલે:
“Rohit… don’t be boring… daring try!”
💸 Rohit hesitant – but thrill overpower guilt:
“એટલે insta fame, real cash… કક્યારેક try કરશું અને જોઇશું કે શું થાય છે?”
First bet- નાની amount – Rohit જીતી જાય!
mobile screen ઉપર – “+₹750” – thrill, heart beat fast, આંખોમાં ઝગમગ સાથે રોહિત રોમાંચિત થઈ જાય છે.
“Wow… real paisa… insta story માં નાખો!” Roky motivate કરે.
ધીરે ધીરે લત વધતી જાય છે.
બીજે દિવસે – હજી વધારે bet – first lose.
“છોડી દઉં? … નહિં… last try…” – second bet – lose again.
ત્યાં રોકી રોહિત ને એક msg મોકલે છે.

Followers વધે છે અને રોહિત રોકી સાથે પૈસા ની વાત શેર કરે છે અને ત્યાં જ insta notifications blink.

થોડા દિવસો પછી
આ પૈસા ભરવા માટે રોહિત બીજી જગ્યા એ થી પૈસા ની વ્યવસ્થા કરવા માંડે છે. વ્યાજે પૈસા લેવા માંડે છે. પણ સામાન્ય ૧૦/૨૦ હજારના આંકડા થી લઈ આ આંકડો સમયે સમયે વધતો જાય છે.અને તેના પર દેવું વધતું જ જાય છે....
રોહિત ધીમે ધીમે stress માં આવતો જાય છે....
આ પૈસાની ચૂકવણી રોહિત કેવી રીતે કરે છે.?
