A Blink in My Heart
Smile on my face
Today,
I met someone
without a face,
without a voice,
yet my heart knew,
she is special......
Something blinked inside me,
like a silent signal,
urging me to speak to her,
though my lips stayed still
and my courage hid behind thoughts.
I’ve never seen her,
yet I imagine her smile,
gentle, effortless,
the kind that doesn’t ask for attention
but quietly steals it.....
I imagine her eyes,
deep and honest,
holding stories they never rush to tell,
eyes that don’t just look,
but feel......
Her beautiful black hair...
I picture it dancing with the wind,
soft like unanswered questions,
beautiful not because of how it looks,
but because it belongs to her.
Strange, isn’t it..?
How the heart paints portraits
without colors,
how it recognizes someone
before the eyes ever do.
I don’t know her name,
her world,
or the sound of her laughter,
yet something inside me whispers,
she matters......
Maybe this is not love,
maybe it’s not destiny,
maybe it’s just a moment,
but some moments
leave fingerprints on the heart.
And tonight,
I carry her as a feeling,
a smile I’ve never seen,
a presence I’ve never touched,
yet a warmth I cannot deny.
Some connections
don’t need meetings,
they simply happen,
quietly,
beautifully,
inside.....
