She held me first, so small, so new,
With eyes of love, so pure, so true.
Before I spoke or took a stride,
She watched me grow with tearful pride.
Her voice — a melody so kind,
The very sound would calm my mind.
In every word, a world of care,
A quiet strength beyond compare.
She taught me how to laugh and dream,
To chase the stars, to build a team.
She caught my tears before they fell,
And kissed my wounds to make them well.
With weary hands and endless grace,
She wiped the sorrows from my face.
Her arms, my shelter from the storm,
Her lap, my place forever warm.
She stood behind when I would stray,
And gently led me back her way.
She never judged, she never turned,
But showed me love that I had earned.
At times I failed, I broke her heart,
Yet she forgave — a brand new start.
Her love, a river, deep and wide,
No force on earth could stem its tide.
She bore the nights of sleepless cries,
With patient heart and tired eyes.
She made each sacrifice unknown,
To give me roots, and let me grown.
No riches lay upon her hands,
But love flowed forth like golden sands.
She gave me more than wealth could buy—
The courage just to reach the sky.
Now older, wiser, I reflect,
On every tear, on every check.
Each wrinkle on her gentle face
Is lined with love and quiet grace.
So here's to her — my guiding light,
Who turned my darkness into bright.
No words could match what she has done,
A mother's love is second to none.
